Job Requirements
- At least one year housekeeping experience in a business environment
- Adequate reading and writing skills
- Ability to perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, mopping, and emptying trash cans
- Capability to stand for long durations
- Ability to walk and bend frequently
- Willingness to work in very damp locations
- Provides on call service to the university as needed for critical and emergency events
- Ability to work in an environment using general cleaning chemicals and solutions as needed for various cleaning tasks

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning classrooms, kitchens, offices, and corridors
- Maintain cleanliness of washroom fixtures and surfaces
- Conduct floor maintenance duties such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing
- Use power machines and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Clean walls, stairways, furniture, and equipment as assigned
- Provide on-call service for critical and emergency events
- Follow health and safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and solutions
