Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting
Strong attention to detail
Good time management skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
Good time management and organizational skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their uses, as well as cleaning equipment, is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Job Duties

Perform routine cleaning of common areas, dining spaces, and administrative offices, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
Nightly cleaning of common area carpeting and tile throughout the community
Deep cleaning common areas overnight to include dusting, wiping down all surfaces including pillars, tables, table legs, chairs, chair legs, doors, walls and floors
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors
Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
Launder linens, towels, and other textiles as needed
Follow the community cleaning schedule and protocol according to community guidelines and follow established safety precautions
Build positive relationships with residents by engaging in friendly, respectful interactions
Respect residents' privacy and preferences while cleaning their living spaces
Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or resident needs changes to the supervisor
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to instructions
Follow infection control and sanitation protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of waste
