Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
One month related experience or training
Ability to read and write English
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to operate a vehicle safely
Ability to perform physical activities including lifting and standing
Open availability for night shifts
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Ability to understand 24 hour and military time
Ability to understand applicable rates based on time elapsed
Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking
Ability to balance physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper phone etiquette
Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and assist with bell services and luggage storage
Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
Provide information about facilities and local attractions
Deliver messages and guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to approved locations
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
Issue claim checks and collect keys prior to vehicle retrieval
Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, damage surveys and claim check receipts
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
