Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks like climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling and crawling
- Must be able to handle stressful or fast-paced environments
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide within 10’s and 100’s using American money units
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rate calculations
- Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly approach and guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location, practice proper phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously, assist with bell services and luggage storage and open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries, provide information about the facility and local attractions, deliver messages, items and shuttle guests as approved
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival, manage claim checks, collect keys and maintain complete and accurate vehicle and ticket information
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when necessary
