Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely and cautiously
  • Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
  • Availability to work overnight shifts Monday through Thursday
  • Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using units of American money
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Understanding of applicable rates for time passed
  • Operation of manual transmission highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and safely
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage survey, and claims receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
