Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently and over 75 pounds with assistance
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems preferred
- First aid/CPR certification preferred
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must be reliable and able to respond quickly in emergency situations
- Full-time, on-site availability with no remote work

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Computer proficiency and experience with security systems preferred
- First aid/CPR certification highly desirable
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel property including guest, service areas, and grounds to ensure safety and security
- Respond promptly to house calls, guest and associate requests, and emergency situations providing first aid when necessary
- Accurately complete incident reports, witness statements, and daily activity logs following up with involved parties
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems and control access through issuing visitor badges and conducting bag checks
- Assist in maintaining and checking alarm systems, securing building doors, service and delivery areas ensuring proper function of safety and fire alarm systems
- Act as a point of contact during emergencies, guiding guests and associates to safety and coordinating with hotel management
- Handle disturbances calmly and professionally to defuse situations maintaining a peaceful environment for guests and associates
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings, staff meetings, and training sessions while communicating effectively with team members
- Proactively identify, report, and correct unsafe conditions on the property ensuring a safe environment for all
