Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in security or related field preferred
- Ability to work overnight shifts primarily
- Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to work full-time on-site
- Commitment to service excellence and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds independently and over 75 pounds with assistance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a service-focused and approachable demeanor
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Computer proficiency and experience with security systems preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification highly desirable
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Conduct regular safety patrols of the hotel property including guest and service areas
- Respond promptly to safety incidents, emergencies, and guest or associate requests
- Provide first aid assistance and ensure timely medical intervention when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting including incident reports and daily activity logs
- Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and control property access by issuing visitor badges and conducting bag checks
- Assist in maintaining alarm systems, securing building entrances, and ensuring proper function of fire and safety alarms
- Act as emergency support contact, guiding guests and associates to safety and coordinating with management
- Handle conflicts and disturbances calmly to maintain a peaceful environment
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to share information and updates
- Identify and correct hazardous conditions proactively
