Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of hotel front desk experience
  • Availability to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to operate computer and point-of-sale systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
  • Dependable and customer-focused
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process including inputting and retrieving guest information
  • Assist guests with check-out by ensuring rooms and services are accurately accounted and processing payments
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues promptly and courteously
  • Field guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction
  • Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests
