Job Requirements

  • Open availability including overnight shifts weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand walk and move throughout the shift including frequent bending lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and stooping
  • Ability to remain positive and productive in a potentially hot or cold work environment
  • Valid food handler certificate required before start date

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of baking experience is preferred
  • Passion for excellence superior service standards and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Food handler certification is required before start date

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies ensuring proper inventory control
  • Cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index ensuring food quality and time standards are always met
  • Answer report to and follow instructions and direction from Prep Lead Sous Chef Executive Chef or other leadership
  • Properly clean and break down station at the end of service ensuring all food handling and food storage standards are met
  • Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers leadership and vendors
