Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • must communicate articulately in English
  • experience with multi-line phones, computers, copy machine, Keytrak device, and other technology
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • polite, helpful, articulate, responsible, and dependable

Job Duties

  • Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
  • takes messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the recipient
  • greets residents, visitors, guests and vendors
  • answers inquiries and gives directions
  • collates brochures and documents for the marketing and other departments
  • prepares meal tickets for family, visitors and guests
  • assists residents with sign-ups for activities, outings and events
  • updates the resident phone list, resident emergency contact and caregiver information
  • maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
  • organizes and distributes packages and other deliveries to residents and staff
  • responds to resident emergency pendant pushes or calls from residents or family to initiate 911/EMS
  • maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
  • assists and supports the business office director and other department directors
  • direct report to the business office director
  • other duties as assigned
