Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout the shift
- Must read, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Must meet requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a U.S. citizen or possess necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact when dealing with clients, employees and the public
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some supervisory/management experience in shift work environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform duties in English
- Knowledge of pertinent regulations (company/client/government agencies)
- Familiarity with safety management systems
- Capacity to resolve problem situations with passengers
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct
- Skill in effective communication with clients and staff
Job Duties
- Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Implement safety plan for station
- Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and/or preventative actions where necessary
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary
- Schedule personnel daily and furnish copy to Department Manager
- Monitor employee activity and make adjustments as needed
