Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be at least 25 years old to operate shuttle or drive guests
- Minimum of 3 years full-time verifiable driving experience
- No positive drug or alcohol test including pre-employment, random, post-accident or reasonable suspicion
- No more than 2 moving traffic violations in past 36 months
- No speeding violations over 25 MPH in past 36 months
- No DUI conviction in past 5 years
- No vehicular homicide, manslaughter or assault charges
- No operating vehicle with suspended or revoked license
- No felony involving vehicle use
- No operating vehicle without owner permission
- No reckless driving or speed contests
- No leaving scene of an accident with bodily injury or damage
- No eluding a police officer
- No operating cell phone while driving violations
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Ability to push and pull carts up to 250 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk various lengths
- Must maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per company standards
- Must attend all required training and meetings
- Must follow all company safety and security policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key systems and POS
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively handle guest inquiries with tact and diplomacy
Job Duties
- Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
- Inform guests of all safety features and promote outlets
- Offer information pertaining to hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Store guest luggage and assist with loading and unloading vehicles
- Call taxi services for guests upon request
- Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork, supervise group baggage transfers
- Maintain appearance and operational effectiveness of check-in stations
- Assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies
- Promote positive working environment and follow employee handbook guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and order of valet stand, driveway, bell closet, and carts
- Safely operate guest vehicles according to traffic laws
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
