Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate vehicles
- Minimum of 3 years full-time verifiable driving experience
- No positive drug or alcohol test history
- No more than 2 moving traffic violations in the last 36 months
- No speeding violations over 25 mph in the last 36 months
- No DUI convictions in the last 5 years
- No vehicular homicide, manslaughter, or assault
- No driving with suspended or revoked license
- No felony vehicle use
- No operating a vehicle without owner's permission
- No reckless driving or speed contests
- No leaving the scene of an accident
- No eluding police officers
- No operating a cell phone while driving violations
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs
- Must be able to stand and move for up to 4 hours
- Must maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance as per company standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and computational ability
- Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
- Valid driver license with ability to meet company insurance requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and self-driven
- Ability to handle high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy in customer interactions
Job Duties
- Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
- Inform guests of all safety features and promote hotel outlets
- Offer information about hotel services, facilities, points of interest, and entertainment attractions
- Store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading luggage into automobiles
- Call taxi for guests as requested
- Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork to ensure accuracy and operational standards
- Supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
- Maintain check-in station appearance, organization, and effectiveness
- Assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies
- Promote a positive work environment and follow employee handbook guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of valet stand, driveway, bell closet, and carts
- Safely operate guest vehicles from valet to parking area and back
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
