Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of professional baking experience
- Ability to work overnight shifts from 10pm to 6am
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- One plus years of professional baking experience preferably in bread, viennoiserie, or pastry production
- Strong understanding of baking processes including proofing, fermentation, and lamination preferred but not required
- Ability to manage time effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Team oriented mindset and willingness to take direction
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
Job Duties
- Prepare, proof, and bake a variety of baked goods and viennoiserie following recipes and production guidelines
- Execute baking schedules to ensure timely delivery of products without compromising quality
- Monitor and maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of baked goods
- Safely operate mixers, ovens, proofers, and other baking equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace adhering to hygiene and safety standards
- Collaborate with other bakers and kitchen staff to meet production goals efficiently
- Identify and resolve problems during the baking process to ensure quality and timeliness
