Job Requirements

  • Experience working as a baker in commercial bakery or food manufacturing
  • Ability to work independently overnight
  • Understanding of industrial baking equipment and techniques
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machinery
  • Capacity to handle heavy ingredients up to 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Excellent time management in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain commercial bakery equipment including mixers, dough dividers, sheeters, ovens, and proofers
  • Prepare, mix, and bake products following standardized recipes and production schedules
  • Monitor and adjust machinery settings to ensure proper dough handling and baking times
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance on bakery equipment
  • Collaborate with production team to meet daily quotas and manage inventory
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace adhering to safety regulations
