Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays required
- must be on feet for the entire shift
- must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently
- exposure to cleaning supplies and pet hair
- physical stamina for a hands-on job
Job Qualifications
- A borderline-obsessive love for animals
- prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus
- a cool, calm, and professional demeanor
- willingness to get hands dirty
- high schoolers, college students, and those seeking second jobs are welcome
- ability to work overnight shifts
Job Duties
- Keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized
- serving up meals and fresh water for pets
- monitoring health, happiness, and behavior of every pet guest
- reporting anything unusual to the General or Assistant Manager
- supervising playtime and engaging with pets
- assisting with brushing and bath time
- handling laundry and pet belongings to ensure cleanliness
