Job Requirements
- valid Manitoba security guard license
- legally authorized to work in Canada
- ability to work overnight shifts on Friday and Saturday from 2200 to 0600
- able to perform interior and exterior patrols independently
- strong observational skills
- ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- legally authorized to work in Canada
- valid Manitoba security guard license
- strong observation and communication skills
- ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies
- comfortable working independently in a large building environment
- experience with CCTV systems and security reporting considered an asset
Job Duties
- monitor CCTV cameras to ensure the safety and security of the building
- conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the facility
- maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity
- complete daily reports and incident reports as required
- respond to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
- assist emergency responders by facilitating building access when required
- perform environmental checks including water leaks, unusual noises, or airflow issues
- observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
