Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Physical ability to stand for 1-8 hour periods
- Ability to climb stairs, stoop, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach overhead
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to follow directions from management
- Must adhere to Monroe Golf Club policies and employee handbook regulations
Job Qualifications
- Prior food and beverage service experience helpful
- Familiarity with proper food and beverage etiquette and presentation
- Ability to work rapidly during busy periods
- Strong communication skills
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities
- Valid driver’s license to operate beverage cart
- Polite and courteous demeanor
- Ability to memorize and use member names
- Ability to comply with established policies and procedures
- Physical capability to perform standing, lifting, and other required tasks
Job Duties
- Responsible for the set-up of designated area
- Obtain and prepare food from the Turn Bar and/or kitchen
- Requisition all alcohol from clubhouse
- Maintain safety and cleanliness
- Use all equipment related to food and beverage service
- Cover beverage cart shifts as needed
- Drive golf cart cautiously and safely adhering to golf rules
- Provide polite and courteous service to members, guests, and associates
- Remember and use member names
- Follow directions of manager/captain
- Work rapidly during rush periods
- Comply with employee handbook rules and Monroe Golf Club policies
- Present neat appearance and wear required uniform and shoes
- Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Adhere to proper food/beverage service etiquette
- Perform both indoor and outdoor work
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
