Job Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated success in consultative solution-based B2B sales
  • Experience selling at senior management level
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry sales or customer service experience
  • Ability to travel within assigned region using own transportation up to 5 percent
  • Ability to attend sales meetings in corporate office in Orange, CA
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to lift boxes or equipment weighing up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts that meet sales quotas
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closing sales
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods and tools
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers
  • Consult with prospects about business challenges and provide cost benefit options
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
  • Draft and deliver proposals
  • Work with technical staff and product specialists to address customer requirements
  • Report on sales activity and achieve monthly sales quota
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data on prospects and customers in CRM
  • Provide forecasts on sales volume expected to close within 90 days
  • Collaborate with Operations staff to ensure great customer experience at delivery
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
  • Offer feedback to sales management to improve sales processes and company brand
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and business opportunities
  • Partner with representatives in other business units to identify cross-selling possibilities
