Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- bilingual English/Spanish fluency
- minimum 1 year experience in outreach or community engagement
- reliable transportation
- valid driver’s license
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- ability to work some early evenings and weekends
- ability to travel locally in Riverside and San Bernardino counties
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- organized and detail oriented
- ability to use digital outreach and data entry tools
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- some college, vocational training or relevant coursework in Public Health, Social Work or Communications preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required
- 1+ years experience in outreach, enrollment or community engagement roles
- Demonstrated experience in community outreach, engagement, or event coordination
- Active involvement or familiarity with Spanish Speaking community networks preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse populations
- Organized and detail oriented with ability to track and analyze outreach outcomes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Zoom)
- Comfortable using digital outreach and data tracking tools
- Collaborative team player with cultural humility and problem-solving mind-set
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
Job Duties
- Build trust with community members through culturally sensitive outreach and education
- Organize outreach and enrollment events at local faith centers, community hubs and public spaces
- Support Community Health Workers (CHWs) during home visits and follow up engagement
- Strengthen partnerships with churches, nonprofits and local organizations
- Track outreach activities and support program evaluation through basic data entry and reporting
- Advocate for members access to health and social support systems
