  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a fine dining restaurant or related environment
  • Proven developer of people
  • Ability to work on feet for at least 8 hours
  • Strong financial and P&L management skills

Job Duties

  • Act as the restaurant general manager in the absence of the GM or AGM
  • Monitor and coordinate day-to-day operations ensuring SOPs and HACCP compliance
  • Maintain a strong presence in FOH and BOH and assist with guest service duties when needed
  • Interact with staff at all levels with professionalism, flexibility, and resourcefulness
  • Oversee preparation of food and beverage items ensuring quality and timely service
  • Maintain restaurant and restroom cleanliness and impeccable table appointments
  • Staff the unit adequately with trained associates for daily operations and special events
  • Complete management administrative duties such as scheduling promptly
  • Ensure guest service is flawless and needs are met to the highest standards
  • Participate in menu design, pricing, and manage equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ensure company and statutory hygiene and security standards are maintained
  • Schedule and monitor labor costs aligned with guest service levels
  • Build strong guest relationships, handle VIP interactions, and resolve guest concerns
  • Lead employee training, coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures
  • Manage procurement, inventory, and supplier contract compliance
  • Monitor daily receipts, sales, costs, and prepare financial reports
  • Attend management meetings and report major issues immediately
  • Foster effective communication between departments and teams
