Job Requirements

- 1-2 years of hospitality and barback or related experience
- certifications for food, alcohol, and safety under Florida requirements

Job Duties
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner
- assist bartenders in setting up the bar for service including stocking liquor, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies
- communicate with Front of House team members to ensure consistent guest service and needs are met
- prepare and deliver ice to bartenders and maintain clean ice bins
- monitor and replenish inventory of beverage and bar-related items during service
- clean and sanitize bar equipment, glassware, and utensils according to hygiene standards
- remove empty glasses, used napkins, and debris from bar tops and tables
- assist with preparation of garnishes and drink ingredients
- collaborate with bartenders to fulfill guest drink orders promptly and accurately
- collect used glassware and utensils for washing and return cleaned items
- empty and properly dispose of trash and recycling materials
- support bartenders in providing exceptional guest service including refilling water glasses and assisting with guest inquiries
- ensure glassware, bar tools, and equipment are clean and in good working condition
- handle guest complaints gracefully seeking solutions
- adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcoholic beverage service
- verify legal drinking age and refuse service to underage or intoxicated guests
- recognize signs of intoxication and manage situations appropriately
- collaborate with staff to maintain efficient bar operation
- assist in training new barbacks and staff as needed
- complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, locking doors
- complete assigned side work
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently
- communicate clearly and professionally
