Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must wear uniform and name badge while on duty
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time
  • Willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
  • Ability to talk with different kinds of people to find out what services they want and to provide them with information
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor

Job Duties

  • Presents menu, answers question and makes suggestions regarding food and service
  • Write orders on check or memorize it
  • Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars
  • Observes guest to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed
  • Totals bill and accept payment or refers patron to cashier
  • May ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee and perform other services as determined by establishment size and practice
  • May clear and reset counters or table at conclusion of each course
  • Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Required to be always in uniform when working on the property including wearing name identification badge
  • Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals and guest service philosophy as defined by the company
  • All other duties assigned by a manager or supervisor
