Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum three years of related experience in hospitality or service industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ethical conduct and integrity
  • Proficiency with computers and relevant software (Microsoft Office, Opera PMS, POS)
  • Positive attitude and commitment to quality
  • Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain courteous and professional demeanor at all times
  • Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with colleagues and other hotel departments
  • Keep open door communication with employees
  • Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory and cash control
  • Have full knowledge of menu items, ingredients and preparation techniques
  • Uphold highest standards of hospitality by monitoring guest experience
  • Ensure maximum utilization and appearance of F&B areas and maintain quality and service standards
  • Collaborate with Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to design menus and wine lists
  • Provide expert knowledge of food, wine and spirits in a distinguished environment
  • Interview, select, train, guide, manage and schedule outlet personnel
  • Monitor team performance including supervision, counseling, evaluations, goal setting, recognition and rewards
  • Address and resolve service issues brought by guests
  • Ensure staff understand job expectations
  • Maintain employee documentation
  • Attend relevant meetings
