Job Requirements

  • Must hold a current Food Handler Card

Job Duties

  • Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • promotes and documents orders for drinks
  • mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and prudent portion control
  • maintains proper and adequate bar setup daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
  • maintains stock, cuts and stores fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables
  • receives cash, makes change, verifies charges, records transactions and balances money
  • locks up and stores beverages, food and equipment, deposits cash drops and secures bank
  • answers bar phone promptly and courteously takes room service orders
  • inputs orders into register, creates checks for guests to ensure accountability
  • performs general cleaning tasks adhering to health standards
  • follows company policies, safety and security procedures
  • knows fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • uses protective equipment
  • reports unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries to supervisor
  • maintains neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • performs related duties as requested
  • assists other beverage personnel as needed
