Job Duties
- Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- promotes and documents orders for drinks
- mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and prudent portion control
- maintains proper and adequate bar setup daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
- maintains stock, cuts and stores fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables
- receives cash, makes change, verifies charges, records transactions and balances money
- locks up and stores beverages, food and equipment, deposits cash drops and secures bank
- answers bar phone promptly and courteously takes room service orders
- inputs orders into register, creates checks for guests to ensure accountability
- performs general cleaning tasks adhering to health standards
- follows company policies, safety and security procedures
- knows fire prevention and emergency procedures
- uses protective equipment
- reports unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries to supervisor
- maintains neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- performs related duties as requested
- assists other beverage personnel as needed
