Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • must have a valid driver s license
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • willingness to travel extensively as required
  • must be comfortable working outdoors all day
  • ability to drive personal vehicle for travel with reimbursement
  • maintain a professional image by wearing uniform
  • willingness to lead educational programming
  • excellent customer service skills
  • excellent organizational skills
  • excellent time management skills
  • ability to work independently
  • knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft

Job Qualifications

  • Professional customer service skills
  • certification or degree in outdoor recreation, tourism management, environmental education, event planning, marketing, or related field preferred
  • ability to work independently
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • ability to apply State of Wyoming policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • manage logistics such as venue bookings and vendor relations
  • provide on-site event support
  • develop and distribute educational and promotional materials
  • manage social media accounts and create content
  • assist with fiscal documentation and expense tracking
  • maintain databases and event calendars
  • operate state vehicles safely
