Job Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A driver’s license
- Minimum of 4 months driving experience
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- Must be 21 years or older
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Safe driving record
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean clearinghouse results required
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A driver’s license (CDL-A)
- Minimum of 4 months driving experience
- Proven safe driving record
- Ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform
- Basic knowledge of flatbed truck operations
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug test
Job Duties
- Transport flatbed loads including glass, steel, aluminum, and building materials safely and on schedule
- Secure freight using tarps and other necessary equipment
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Participate in paid orientation and training sessions
