Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • minimum of 4 years related experience preferred
  • demonstrated skills in event planning and execution
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in related degree program preferred
  • minimum of 4 years related experience preferred
  • demonstrated skills knowledge and experience in planning and executing high quality events and programming
  • demonstrated ability to develop standards for high quality events and programming
  • experience working with team members colleagues and outside contractors to reach department goals
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment maintaining strong attention to detail
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • experience with live music productions a plus
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • knowledge of general office procedures and equipment
  • ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Own all aspects of event creation and planning from managing calendars to building relationships with event talent vendors suppliers sponsors and staff at designated sites
  • develop event concepts themes and objectives based on organizational goals for 3CDC-produced events
  • manage talent booking food vendor recruitment management contract negotiation and coordinate with government entities such as Cincinnati Police Fire and Health Department
  • manage execution of events by producing and managing detailed event scripts layouts schedules and staff assignments
  • coordinate in advance with Sponsorship Production and Operations teams to clarify roles and expectations
  • regularly check in and work onsite during events to ensure execution meets 3CDC standards and analyze events to suggest improvements
  • evaluate event systems and procedures with Production Team to ensure efficiency
  • coordinate with Marketing Team to maximize advertising and promotional efforts and maintain accurate web presence
  • oversee post-event work including recaps surveys and measuring reporting analyzing event results
  • continually analyze internally-produced events to ensure freshness and alignment with 3CDC objectives
  • manage all events within established budgets maintaining expense tracking including production marketing and staffing costs
  • assist EVP Civic and Commercial Space Activation and accounting team with month end reporting
