Job Duties
- manage and match available loads from our clients to over-the-road truck to maximize the capacity of each truck and driver, consolidating cargo throughout all regions
- understand current market trends and rates to improve service/cost to meet operation profit margin goals
- be responsible for fleet profitability by continuously assigning loads based on a preplanned operation, including booking freight ahead of time as necessary
- maintain continuous communication with drivers to ensure load planning and accurate assignment
- collaborate with internal operational teams to implement cost-efficient logistics solutions to move the company trucks
- have full understanding of Hours of Service regulation for proper load assignment
- meet or exceed expected KPIs
