Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Nine months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- No DWIs in the past five years
- No more than three moving violations in the past three years
- Pass pre-employment DOT physical
- Pass drug screen
- Pass human performance evaluation
- No preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past three years
- No travel to NYC or Canada
- Ability to park truck at company terminal
- Willingness to run 21 days and then have 7 days off
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to safely operate long-haul tractor-trailers
- Experience with no-touch freight preferred
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to use electronic logging devices and related apps
- Strong communication and time management skills
Job Duties
- Operate a Freightliner Cascadia tractor with a 53-foot dry van trailer
- Transport 100% no-touch freight efficiently and safely
- Follow designated routes ensuring home time every 21 days with 7 days off
- Utilize technology to manage loads and payroll
- Maintain excellent safety records to qualify for bonuses
- Load or unload freight as required by route
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries
