Job Requirements
- Orthodontic assisting experience for at least one year
- Availability on Saturdays
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of orthodontic assistant courses (preferred)
- Ability to learn quickly and efficiently
- Ability to multitask
- Professionalism and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments such as cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and making impressions
- Examine patient mouth and take notes of irregularities
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures such as adjusting braces and placing orthodontic appliances
- Manage patient records and update charts
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Sterilize instruments before and after use
- Follow safety and infection control protocols
- Complete aligner procedures including attachments, adjustments, and scans
- Perform full arch bonding top and bottom and bonding fixed retainers
- Debonding and rebonding brackets
- Use various digital scanners
- Make clear retainers
- Deliver expanders, space maintainers, and forsus appliances
- Perform all duties and administrative tasks when traveling to other clinic locations
- Participate in marketing events
- Other tasks as assigned
