Job Requirements
- Military membership in the Nebraska National Guard
- Males born after December 31, 1959, must be registered for Selective Service
- Obtain and maintain required security clearance and background check
- May be required to complete a probationary period
- Direct deposit mandatory
- Willingness to serve a 2-year trial period
- Meet compatible military grade requirements prior to placement
- Experience with mechanical and electrical repair of hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Ability to perform precise and intricate repair work
- Must successfully complete all required documentation and clearances prior to appointment
Job Qualifications
- National Guard membership is required
- Experience or training in mechanical and electrical principles
- Experience dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling ordnance equipment
- Ability to diagnose malfunctions and use hand tools and test equipment
- Experience repairing, rebuilding, modifying, and testing major subassemblies
- Ability to interpret and apply technical manuals and published materials
- Must be eligible for or currently hold compatible military grade and assignment
- Must meet security clearance and background investigation requirements
Job Duties
- Manage allocations, stock levels, inventories, requisitions, and disposition of munitions
- Manage excess serviceable/unserviceable munitions program
- Coordinate scheduling of inventories and compile inventory adjustment packages
- Establish and maintain munitions inspection program
- Manage warehouse munitions stockpiles and maintain storage infrastructure and equipment
- Assemble, disassemble, adjust configuration, maintain, test, and repair a variety of ordnance equipment and weapon systems
- Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical faults and assign Weapon Stock Numbers
- Prepare and schedule munitions for shipment and process movement transactions
- Maintain and repair Munitions Material Handling Equipment
- Perform serviceability inspections and maintain maintenance records
- Coordinate with Air Logistics Complex and manage compliance with technical orders
