Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience performing warehouse or distribution tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Willingness to work in refrigerated and cold environments
- Must wear safety shoes as part of personal protective equipment
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible overtime shifts
- Capacity to operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks safely
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance
- Fluent English communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of recent and successful experience in a manufacturing or warehouse/distribution environment
- Prior distribution or food industry experience preferred
- Experience with powered industrial equipment including forklifts and RF scanners preferred
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Job Duties
- Perform general physical activities in a warehouse including loading, unloading, selecting, sorting, and moving products and materials manually
- Safely operate the forklift to move products throughout the facility including pulling and stocking of product
- Utilize powered industrial trucks including forklifts and pallet rider jacks to transfer merchandise
- Transport filled and completed orders to designated shipping assembly areas
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Select customer orders accurately and efficiently using the Warehouse Management System
- Work closely with the Dispatch/Warehouse team to ensure the correct handling of picked orders
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy of picked orders and report discrepancies
- Comply with all applicable OSHA and Food Safety regulations
