Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to operate a computer or tablet to enter and retrieve data
  • Must be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities including bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spaces
  • Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment
  • Must be able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
  • Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances per local requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Mandatory overtime may be required
  • Successful completion of interview required

Job Duties

  • Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • Work with Passenger Assistance Agents to ensure all requests for services are met
  • Do all reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Be familiar with all FAA, TSA, Airline, Company regulations
  • Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs
  • Deal courteously and tactfully with fellow employees and passengers if necessary
  • Communicate effectively with fellow employees
  • Receive and respond to telephone and radio calls from PAA and employees in a professional and timely manner
  • Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff and public in a courteous manner
  • Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files as required
  • Maintain and distribute radios where applicable and complete documentation and reports thoroughly and timely
  • Perform other duties as requested
