Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to speak, read and understand English
  • ability to perform in a high-pace, time-sensitive, work environment
  • ability to use knives and kitchen equipment
  • comply with all work rules and regulations
  • observe and follow safety and hygiene standards
  • must be flexible and able to react to changing priorities
  • must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8 plus hours
  • must be able to follow and understand customer specifications and paperwork in English
  • ability to handle dry ice
  • ability to lift and push 50 plus lbs
  • comfortable working in cold environment of approximately 40 degrees
  • willingness to work in noisy environment

Job Duties

  • prepare all food items according to standard recipes and production orders
  • determine production time requirements and quantities based on food production order
  • obtain all necessary ingredients, supplies and equipment
  • maintain equipment and work area in clean, safe and orderly manner according to safe food handling guidelines
  • comply with all work rules and regulations
  • observe and follow safety and hygiene standards
  • load airline catering carts with food trays
