Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to speak, read and understand English
  • ability to perform in a high-pace, time-sensitive work environment
  • ability to use knives and kitchen equipment
  • comply with all work rules and regulations
  • availability to work shifts of 8 or more hours
  • physical ability to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift
  • ability to handle dry ice
  • must follow safety and hygiene standards
  • flexibility to react to changing priorities
  • good organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and production orders
  • determine production time requirements and quantities based on food production order
  • obtain all necessary ingredients, supplies and equipment
  • maintain equipment and work area in clean, safe and orderly manner according to safe food handling guidelines
  • use knives and kitchen equipment safely
  • comply with all work rules and regulations
  • observe and follow safety and hygiene standards
  • react to changing priorities
  • stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift
  • follow and understand customer specifications and paperwork in English
  • handle dry ice safely
