Job Requirements
- Work assigned schedule, which may include nights, weekends and holidays
- Work overtime when required
- Have valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain airport access SIDA badge with Hologram
- Pass Ground Motor Vehicle Driving Test to receive badge with yellow stripe
- Wear personal protective equipment as required
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Ability to work in physical environments including near 40°F cooler
- Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, bending, lifting and pushing 50+ lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working on the airfield at a major airport
- Experience interacting with airline flight crews
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to understand flight menus and specifications
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Detail-oriented with strong decision-making capabilities
Job Duties
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality service in all aspects of flight
- Ensure flight is complete and fully prepared for departure in a timely fashion
- Ability to interface with flight crew displaying professionalism and knowledge
- Ability to comprehend flight menus and flight galley specifications
- Add or subtract meals for assigned flights as necessary, including special and crew meals
- Add or subtract equipment for flights as necessary
- Ability to understand flight boarding bills
- Ability to conduct spec checks on finished product to ensure quality standards are met
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers, coworkers and customer personnel
- Detail oriented, strong teamwork and decision-making skills
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in verbal and written English communication
