Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working on airfield at O'Hare airport or major U.S. airport
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain airport access SIDA badge with hologram
  • Ability to drive on the airfield and pass Ground Motor Vehicle Driving Test
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Physical ability to perform duties including lifting 50+ lbs and working in refrigerated environments

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working on airfield at O'Hare airport or other major airport in the U.S
  • Possession of SIDA badge or ability to obtain one
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret flight menus and boarding bills
  • Strong teamwork and decision-making capabilities
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English

Job Duties

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality service in all aspects of flight
  • Ensure flight is complete and fully prepared for departure in a timely fashion
  • Ability to interface with flight crew displaying professionalism and knowledge
  • Ability to comprehend flight menus and flight galley specifications
  • Add or subtract meals for assigned flights as necessary, including special and crew meals
  • Add or subtract equipment for flights as necessary
  • Ability to understand flight boarding bills
  • Ability to conduct spec checks on finished product to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ability to effectively communicate with managers, coworkers and customer personnel
  • Detail oriented, strong teamwork and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in verbal and written English communication
