Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working on airfield at O'Hare airport or major U.S. airport
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain airport access SIDA badge with hologram
- Ability to drive on the airfield and pass Ground Motor Vehicle Driving Test
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting 50+ lbs and working in refrigerated environments
Job Qualifications
- Experience working on airfield at O'Hare airport or other major airport in the U.S
- Possession of SIDA badge or ability to obtain one
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to understand and interpret flight menus and boarding bills
- Strong teamwork and decision-making capabilities
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
Job Duties
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality service in all aspects of flight
- Ensure flight is complete and fully prepared for departure in a timely fashion
- Ability to interface with flight crew displaying professionalism and knowledge
- Ability to comprehend flight menus and flight galley specifications
- Add or subtract meals for assigned flights as necessary, including special and crew meals
- Add or subtract equipment for flights as necessary
- Ability to understand flight boarding bills
- Ability to conduct spec checks on finished product to ensure quality standards are met
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers, coworkers and customer personnel
- Detail oriented, strong teamwork and decision-making skills
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in verbal and written English communication
