Job Requirements
- Minimum one year prior experience as a Host person required
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Liquor commission card and certification from alcohol awareness program required
- Ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to maintain positive guest relations
- Familiarity with POS system operation
- Ability to move tables and chairs
- Ability to lift trays up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to maintain stationary position for up to 8 hours
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of restaurant service and guest relations
- Certified in alcohol awareness and liquor commission card
- Familiarity with liquor, wine, and food service
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Job Duties
- Greet and acknowledge all arriving and departing guests
- Escort guests to tables and assist with seating
- Ensure menu and wine list presentation
- Prepare seating charts and assigned stations for staff
- Set up host podium with necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of podium
- Ensure appropriate number of menus is available and inspect their condition daily
