Job Requirements
- Associate's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum one year experience in aviation related field
- Knowledge of FAR Parts 61, 91, 121, 135, 141, 142 and FAA Order 8900.1
- Proficiency in English both verbal and written
- Experience with IBM PC or compatible computer systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of one year experience in aviation related field
- Knowledge of FAR Parts 61, 91, 121, 135, 141, 142, FlightSafety Operations Manual, FAA Order 8900.1
- Thorough understanding of FAA, EASA, TC and other NAA regulations
- Fluency in English verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with IBM PC or compatible computers and office equipment
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality
Job Duties
- Maintain a library of Part 121/135 Certificate holder approved programs, manuals and documents
- Ensure accuracy and currency of required documentation
- Develop and maintain systems required to maintain current instructor, check airmen and TCE records of training
- Maintain instructor training documentation and computerized record keeping system
- Compile data and prepare reports for management
- Conduct internal audits of training records
- Provide information regarding regulatory requirements to program managers and instructors
- Coordinate with the Director of Standards on instructor training, qualification and currency
- Assist in drafting training programs and revisions
- Ensure compliance with federal and internal regulations
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with flight operation directors and chief pilots
- Communicate with compliance and training staff regarding manuals and course documents
- Schedule necessary checks and evaluations for instructor certification
- Maintain commitment to customer satisfaction
- Adhere to work schedules and safety standards
- Participate in Quality Management System activities
- Support ethical behavior and compliance
- Prepare correspondence and prioritize work
- Travel as required
