Job Requirements
- An associate's degree in an appropriate area of specialization or a high school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of related experience
- Ability to train for and obtain pesticide application license
- Ability to work under harsh environmental conditions
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift moderately heavy objects
- Valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- An associate's degree in an appropriate area of specialization or a high school diploma or equivalent with one or more years of related experience
- Experience in basic laboratory and greenhouse procedures
- Ability to train for and obtain a pesticide application license
- Preferred experience in pesticide application, greenhouse maintenance, and sample collection for laboratory analysis
- Basic laboratory skills
Job Duties
- Assist in field and greenhouse pesticide spray trials involving mixing, handling, and applying pesticides
- Set up, maintain, and monitor greenhouse and field trials
- Collect, store, and process samples from trials for lab analysis
- Perform plant maintenance including pest control, irrigation, and fertigation in the greenhouse
- Work under harsh environmental conditions such as heat and humidity for prolonged periods
- Stand or walk for extended periods
- Lift moderately heavy objects
- Travel to field sites requiring valid driver’s license
