Job Requirements

  • valid drivers license
  • ability to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • successful completion of background and fingerprint check
  • compliance with grooming standards and uniform requirements
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • good public relations skills
  • ability to maintain effective working relationships
  • basic arithmetic skills

Job Duties

  • Explain facilities and services provided for public use, enjoyment and education
  • meet visitors, answer questions, provide information and directions in an accurate and professional manner
  • resolve visitor complaints while maintaining good public relations
  • use point of sale system
  • prepare forms and reports on visitation, vehicle usage, purchase requests and accidents
  • answer telephone, operate park radio, computer and various office equipment
  • conduct purchasing and fiscal activities in compliance with established procedures
  • collect fees, perform cash register and point of sale transactions, reconcile receipts
  • order, sell and inventory resale merchandise
  • maintain park files and answer correspondence
  • perform other related duties as required
