Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • ability to work 24 hours per week including rotating shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • capability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • maintain effective working relationships
  • understand and apply rules, directives, policies, laws and regulations
  • pass background and fingerprint check
  • comply with uniform and grooming standards
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • skill in using power tools and computer systems

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or park operations preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite
  • skill in operating point of sale systems and cash reconciliation
  • ability to use power tools such as chain saws and drills
  • strong public relations and interpersonal skills
  • adept at preparing accurate reports
  • ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Duties

  • Explain facilities and services provided for public use, enjoyment and education
  • meet visitors, answer questions and provide accurate information and directions
  • attempt to resolve visitor complaints while maintaining good public relations
  • operate point of sale system and perform cash register transactions
  • prepare forms and reports on visitation, vehicle usage, purchase requests and accidents
  • conduct purchasing and fiscal activities in compliance with procedures
  • collect fees, reconcile receipts and inventory resale merchandise
  • answer telephone and operate park radio and computer equipment
  • maintain park files and correspondence
  • perform other related duties as required
