Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 40lbs and assist in lifting heavier objects
- Complete successful background screening
- Willingness to work 40 hours weekly including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to operate various grounds maintenance equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to follow rules, policies, laws, and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in operating trucks, tractors, mowers, and utility vehicles
- Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment such as chainsaws and blowers
- Good public relations and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to lift 40lbs regularly and assist with lifting heavier objects
- Ability to collect fees and operate point-of-sale systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Experience in resource management or similar tasks preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Greet visitors at the park entrance and provide information about the park and activities
- Collect fees for park entrance and annual passes and operate point-of-sale cash register
- Accurately record and reconcile revenue collected
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities, restrooms, grounds, parking areas, and equipment
- Operate trucks, tractors, mowers, chainsaws, blowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment
- Assist in resource management tasks including exotic plant and animal control, fire line preparation, and prescribed fire activities
- Answer phones, use two-way radio communication, complete reports, and resolve visitor complaints while maintaining good public relations
