Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years’ experience in airport operations
- Proficiency in operations tools and software
- Basic Microsoft Office and PowerPoint skills
- Completion of station operations training
- Understanding of flight releases and fueling information
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Capacity to exert physical force up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred in aviation related field
- 1-3 years’ experience in an airport operations function
- Proficiency in operations related tools and software such as MC Plot, MC Web, Movement Control
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
- Successful completion of new hire, initial, and recurrent Station Ops Training
- Understanding of flight releases and fueling information
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and implement changes
- Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure while multitasking
- Effective time management and prioritization skills in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to exert physical force to move objects as required
Job Duties
- Serve as primary contact for Spirit OCC Flight Dispatch Officer and Operations Supervisor
- Complete, distribute and oversee Aircraft Load Sheet (ALS)
- Review timelines associated with departure delays to ensure accurate coding
- Oversee fueling operations including completion of fuel slips and data entry in MC Web
- Coordinate with POA to verify baggage count before approving aircraft departure
- Escalate flight release delays to ATC Re-route Flight Dispatch Officer
- Reconcile weight and balance discrepancies related to guest and baggage count
- Support co-workers to build a strong operations culture
- Assist with station audits and compliance
- Validate accuracy of all flight departure paperwork
- Cross-train and work in all areas within Operations Department including Guest Service and Ramp Operations
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned depending on operational needs
