Job Requirements

  • experience in a medical or optometry office preferred
  • computer experience and skills required
  • epic emr experience preferred

Job Duties

  • serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in the optometry department
  • manage front desk operations, appointment scheduling, and patient registration
  • coordinate prescription eyewear orders using optical vendor systems
  • assist patients with frame selection and provide product information
  • enter and track eyeglass orders to ensure timely delivery
  • communicate with patients regarding their eyewear status
  • maintain organized records and adhere to confidentiality standards
