Job Requirements
- High school diploma GED or equivalent certification is required
- Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Basic understanding of automated processes is required
- Control room operations experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of hot rolling mill operations to include rotary hearth/reheat furnace cone type piercer fine quality mill/stretch reducing block rolling mills cooling bed and bar/layer saw equipment is preferred
- Intermediate computer skills required to effectively use for data entry analysis reporting word processing troubleshooting issues and ability to learn to navigate HMI mill rolling systems and other systems such as Level 2 systems IBA SAP and Grafana
- Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures chemicals dust fumes and mists uneven surfaces loud noise elevated work areas and confined spaces with appropriate PPE and in a safe manner
- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift which includes overtime weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills required must read speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication clearly

Job Duties
- Operate equipment in a hot rolling mill for seamless pipe like bar/layer saws rotary hearth/reheat furnace piercing mill mandrel mill stretch reducing mill
- Monitor pulpit control panels remote television monitors computer terminals HMIs and make parameter adjustments to maintain production pace and quality
- Lead in building stand lineups and changing out tooling for specified product
- Maintain safe and reliable rolling mill systems while improving production KPIs yield performance and availability
- Follow safety policies and procedures for equipment operation
- Perform routine inspection of equipment condition and report part replacement or fixes
- Perform in-process quality inspections and tests identifying defects ensuring quality meets customer specifications
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
- Work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
- Keep work area organized and clean following housekeeping and 5S standards
- Conduct or participate in lockout/tagout verifying zero energy
- Actively participate in safety trainings safety meetings and weekly toolbox talks
- Demonstrate dependability in attendance work completion and flexibility to meet business needs
