Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • at least 6 months of experience as an operator in a production environment
  • ability to understand and follow recipes and operate mixing process controls
  • basic knowledge of dough mixing and equipment operation
  • ability to read scale and temperature readouts and document data accurately
  • basic computer skills and ability to work with operating screens
  • effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Job Qualifications

  • ability to understand and follow recipes and operate mixing process controls
  • basic knowledge of dough mixing and equipment operation
  • ability to read scale and temperature readouts and document data accurately
  • basic computer skills and ability to work with operating screens
  • effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • prior experience in a fast-paced food production environment
  • familiarity with GMPs and food safety practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipe specifications including feeding starters and other components
  • monitor and control dough temperatures during mixing and final stages
  • verify dough texture and ensure targeted characteristics are met
  • maintain ingredient inventory and ensure proper usage per picklist
  • accurately enter data into MOVEX and document mixing data promptly
  • ensure weight scales function accurately and refrigerated ingredients are properly stored
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of mixing equipment coolers and work areas
  • lift and handle 50 lb flour bags as needed
  • adhere to GMPs food safety and health and safety protocols
  • perform additional tasks as assigned
