Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- at least 6 months experience in ingredient preparation or similar role
- ability to work third shift hours (10:00 pm - 6:30 am) including weekends
- physical ability to lift and dump 50 lbs flour bags
- ability to follow detailed recipes and process controls
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- basic computer skills for data entry
- effective communication skills in English
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
- ability to understand and follow recipes
- ability to understand and operate mixing process controls and make adjustments when necessary
- basic knowledge of dough mixing and operating mixing equipment
- ability to comprehend scale and temperature readouts
- ability to document mixing and ingredient data accurately and timely
- at least 6 months experience as an operator
- ability to write clearly and legibly and possess basic effective verbal and written English skills
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients accurately as specified by recipe
- feed starters, mother, potatoes, peppers, onions, etc
- prepare and mix ingredients to specified mixing time and temperature
- continually monitor and control temperatures of dough during mixing process and final mixing stage
- add ingredients in the order specified by the recipe to obtain desired characteristics
- visually and physically verify the texture of the dough to assure targeted texture characteristics
- monitor and control the efficiency of the Rheon Line to assure dough mixes do not exceed capacity
- continually monitor and control ingredient inventory
- assure all ingredients are used as per picklist
- assure lot numbers on picklist match those provided
- assure data entry is entered accurately and on time (MOVEX)
- assure refrigerated ingredients are maintained in the coolers
- assure reuse of waste dough from Rheon Line when allowed
- assure weight scales function accurately
- document mixing data accurately and timely
- maintain mixing equipment clean and sanitized
- identify batch containers accurately and weigh as required
- maintain coolers organized and clean
- maintain mixing and ingredient areas organized and clean
- lift and dump 50 lbs flour bags consistently for short periods
- monitor that starter on floor does not exceed use time
- assure mixing documents completed at end of shift and placed correctly
- maintain and improve quality, legality, and safety of product and processes
- keep assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and report potential contamination and suspicious activity immediately to supervisor
