Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- basic English literacy for reading, writing, and documenting weights and temperatures
- no prior experience required
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
- ability to stand for extended periods in a production environment
- ability to work cooperatively with peers and follow verbal instructions
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- basic English literacy including reading, writing, and documenting weights and temperatures
- previous experience in food manufacturing or bakery operations preferred
- understanding of GMP, HACCP, and basic food safety principles
- experience working with mixers, cutting tools, or ingredient handling equipment
- ability to work cooperatively with peers and follow verbal instructions
Job Duties
- Prepare, scale, and mix ingredients according to recipe and established time/temperature standards
- stage, weigh, and document ingredients and dough batches to support continuous production
- take and record required temperature readings such as margarine, water, eggs, and final dough
- unload dough from mixers and prepare sections for further processing
- operate sifters and assist with rework mixing as needed
- maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations
- communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and team members regarding production needs or concerns
